Foo FIghters’ New Drummer is Josh Freese

The Foo Fighters have revealed their new drummer to take over their 2023 tour dates. And it’s no other than Josh Freese. Taylor Hawkins passed away on March 25, 2022 his death stunned the music community. Fans were wondering who would take his place which are big shoes to fill. Taylor have been with the band throughout all their success. Josh Freese is not newbie when it comes with experience as a musician. He’s been a drummer since the first grade, and he toured with Paul Westerberg (The Replacement) and joined The Vandals, among other big gigs. Playing over 300 recordings (up to 500, according to some sources). His resume features bands like Guns N’ Roses, Nine Inch Nails, The Offspring, A Perfect Circle, Weezer, Paramore and many others. By the age of 30 he had over 150 albums under his belt. You can catch Freese and Foo Fighters on the band’s upcoming tour that starts May 24th at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH.
